(Blogmensgo, gay blog of August 20, 2016) These days, Love Life, a prevention organization of the Swiss Public Health Office, is conducting an online survey on the sex life of the Swiss – independently of their sexual orientation. It will serve to prevent the new Love Life campaign on prevention of sexually transmittable diseases based on risk, sexual practices and actual habits.
The survey may be taken in either of three Swiss national languages: German (Liebesleben in der Schweiz), French (La vie sexuelle de la population en Suisse) and Italian (La vita sessuale in Svizzera). All responses will be treated anonymously and confidently by the opinion poll institute Sotomo, which is managing the survey.
After some general questions about personal details, the survey asks questions about the respondents’ sexual life and practices such as fellatio, anal sex, masturbation and vaginal sex – not to forget: The survey addresses gay men, women and heterosexuals alike.
There are also questions on the relationship status, dealing with prostitution, sexual locations, number of sex partners, prevention habits etc.
Each page of the online form shows the survey progress (in percent). You should plan about 10 minutes to complete the survey.
Comment: A very simple and clearly set up survey running without any problems.
The only lack is that we do not get any information about the end date of the survey or its evaluation and publication of its results – which seems quite surprising in a highly accurate and organized country like Switzerland. ☺
