(Blogmensgo, gay blog of December 30, 2015) The buyer of the French gay magazine Têtu reopened the Tetu.com website on December 29, 2015 after a three-month break. This reopening, initially planned for early December 2015, lets us assume ambitious plans for a relaunch of the very well-known French LGBT magazine – including its print issue.
To recap: The publisher of the Têtu print and web versions had gone into bankruptcy in July 2015 but was partially bought out by its IT service provider iDyls in November.
Over the last weeks, there have been many rumors on the Têtu comeback.
Last night, a counter suddenly appeared on the website, which counted down the time until the relaunch (planned for December 29 at 21 h (CET).
Soon after, site visitors were able to catch a glimpse of the new, lean and easy-to-read look of the website, which is offering a nice mix of life style, people, culture and psychology.
The site is based on a WordPress theme and looks like a blog: Each new article appears on top and moves down as more articles are issued.
The print version of Têtu may come out as early as in the first quarter of 2016.
We wish the new producers of Têtu lots of luck and success for this relaunch!
