Arosa Gay Ski Week 2016: Sports and Fun in the Snow
(Blogmensgo, gay blog of November 22, 2015) The 12th edition of Arosa Gay Ski Week is planned for the week between January 10 and 17, 2016. As in the years before, there will be lots of gay guys and lesbians, sports, fun, snow and wonderful Swiss specialties like fondue and raclette.
Can 2016 mark a new record after the success of last year’s edition? There were 600 participants from about 30 different countries in January 2015. Regardless, there will be many people around to explore 225 km of beautiful ski slopes with you.
Besides skiing, sledding, snow-boarding and, of course, après-ski fun, Arosa has lots to offer for gays, lesbians and their friends. For this major LGBT event, the city will, once again, fly the rainbow flag.
The program (FR | US | DE) is just as consistent and varied as before.
For friends of classical music, Michel Dalberto and Michail Lifits will host a concert. The French and the Uzbek pianists will be joined by violist Alejandro Regueira for a concert with music by Beethoven, Brahms, Mozart and Schubert.
There will not be any lack of good food either: On Tuesday and Thursday, there will be Chinese fondue, and during the whole time, you can savor local Swiss specialties like Swiss fondue, raclette and much more.
Also on the program listing: Swimming pool, snowball fights, cabaret shows and, last but not least, the much-liked and fun Arosa Drag Race.
