(Blogmensgo, November 16, 2012) Since October 2012 The British Association of NAM offers a new news bulletin on prevention methods and the state of research on HIV & AIDS in Europe. This free newsletter provides the Latest News on HIV prevention Europe. For simplicity, we'll call the newsletter ‘HIV’.
HIV can be read either on the web or by email after free subscription. Five languages are available: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian.
The October 2012 HIV focuses on PEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis), this strategy of HIV prevention is to take antiretrovirals (ARVs) for HIV-negative people, especially in rural exposure (Gay, serodiscordant couples). In France, PEP is best known through the controversial experimentation Ipergay.
Another article based on the French and Swiss contexts to examine the relationship between viral load (amount of virus in the blood) and the number of new HIV infections. Statistics show that the link between the two concepts is less than expected.
The newsletter includes a brief press release. Most items leads to an article in principle more complete source, but in English.
