Chéries-Chéris gay film festival 2011
(Blogmensgo, October 17, 2011) The 17th edition of the festival Chéries-Chéris awarded its grand prize to feature German ‘Romeos’ by writer and director Sabine Bernardi. Some 9,100 film fans attended the "gay, lesbian & trans film festival in Paris," which was held from 7 to 16 October 2011 at the Forum des images. The program included a hundred films of all kinds, including 17 feature films, 35 documentaries and 8 shorts in the competition.
Award-winning at festivals in Honolulu and Oslo, Romeos tells the story of Lukas (Rick Okon), a young 20 year old man born in the body of a woman.

The list of the features include a jury prize awarded to Sur le départ, the French director Michael Dacheux, and an acting award that rewards tied and Sarah Kazemy Nikohl Boosheri for their performance in the American film 'in secret'.
And for moviegoers globetrotters, it was reported that the Image + Nation Festival monopolize the cinema in Montreal from October 26 to November 6, 2011, with a huge programming of quality and quantity.
